School Overview
Management, school setup and secure operational tools.
School Setup
Configure school-owned learners, guardians and class membership under approved School Setup grants.
School Profile
Read official DBE master-school information and your verified school membership without changing the authoritative record.
My LTSM Committee appointment
Privately check whether you have an approved nomination. If a formal operational appointment exists, you can personally acknowledge acceptance. This does not sign confidentiality documents or provide stock access.
LTSM Committee setup
Use your verified School Setup permissions to appoint committee members, submit a proposal and check appointment/document readiness. Operational stock, learner records and reports remain separately protected.
Committee establishment does not create LTSM or reporting grants. Management approval must be independently authorised.
Official School Identity
Read-only data sourced from the linked DBE school master table. TMC never overwrites official fields here.

Missing-information supplements
TMC obtains official values from the DBE master table. Fields containing DBE data stay locked. Only empty fields and school-maintained information can be supplemented. No DBE record is updated.
Official School Badge Studio
Upload one school-authorised PNG, JPEG or WebP crest. TMC produces three document-size previews automatically. Submitted badges remain pending until independent TMC administrator approval; only approved assets appear on official documents.
Official School Letterhead Studio
Use an existing authorised school letterhead, or request a professionally prepared TMC letterhead. This does not overwrite your DBE school identity or official crest. The finished letterhead is activated only after independent review.
Restricted School Setup
The school identity must be linked and an explicit `school_setup.view` or `school_setup.edit` grant must be recorded by management before learner administration is available.
Smart School Setup · Official DBE context
Discover what TMC already knows about your school, then confirm only the applicable academic offerings. DBE values are never changed.
Official grade candidates — select only grades actually offered
These are suggestions derived from the school's DBE classification, not a confirmed register. Selecting a grade does not create any classes or enrol learners.
Configuration readiness
Authorised learner directory
No learners loaded.
Learner Details
All edits are school-owned, scoped and audited by Supabase. A new admission number must be unique within the school.
Full nonmedical learner profile
Choose a learner in the directory first. These fields supplement the existing school-owned learner profile, not the DBE master record.
Parents & Guardians
Choose a learner in the directory first.
Only classes in this selected year can be used for learner allocation. Earlier years remain separate; no learner records are carried forward.
Existing school classes
Class assignments use the server's existing school-owned class records.

One School Class Manager
Reuse the existing Register Classes & Teaching Groups manager. It creates a school-owned, grade-specific class using the confirmed official grade ID, class-teacher assignment, home room and the selected academic year. This page does not have a second create-class service.
Smart Learner Import
Excel, CSV and TSV are parsed in your browser. Only reviewed learner rows are transmitted to school-scoped Supabase RPCs. Never use Individual Workspace AI extraction for school children.

Official academic configuration · draft
Begin with a phase. TMC will then show only grades and curriculum-linked subjects in that phase. No grades or subjects appear before a phase is selected. Save a school-year draft; this never publishes an official offering. TMC administration must approve catalogue additions first.
Selected subjects review
Check only the phases, grades and subjects saved by your school for this academic year. TMC checks eligibility against the official curriculum and identifies mistakes in your selections. National catalogue maintenance is handled separately by TMC administration.
Your school's saved subject choices
Only your saved selections appear below. Eligible grades are curriculum reference information, not automatic subject-to-grade or teacher assignments. Unselected national subjects and internal verification queues are excluded.
Save a draft and select Review selected subjects.
Request a missing official catalogue entry
If a phase, grade or subject is missing, send a motivated request to TMC administration. No school user can add official catalogue entries directly.
Grade-specific subject offerings
Confirm which selected subjects your school actually offers in each selected grade. Only verified eligible combinations are available. Your choices remain an unpublished school-year draft.
An eligible checkbox is a curriculum possibility, not an automatic school offering. Nothing is selected for you. Apply or clear actions affect only the displayed, eligible cells.
This saves school-year subject offerings only. It does not create classes, assign educators or enrol learners. School management publication and readiness checks remain separate.
Teaching workload, rooms & timetable preparation
Review only this school's actual teaching groups and active staff assignments. Configure rooms once, confirm weekly teaching time, and test optional draft periods. No timetable is published here.
1 · Timetable period settings
Confirm the actual school-year schedule. TMC does not assume your school's bell times or contractual teacher workload.
2 · Shared rooms & facilities
One facility record can serve different grades and groups at different times. Do not create a new register class for each room.
| Code | Name / type | Capacity | Availability | Action |
|---|
3 · Teaching-group weekly requirements
Choose an existing subject teaching group. Where one unambiguous DBE weekly-time reference exists, it is shown for review; it is not silently saved as a school requirement.
| Teaching group | Educator(s) | DBE reference | School-confirmed | Room preference | Draft periods |
|---|
4 · Actual educator teaching allocations
Calculated from existing active staff–teaching-group links. Co-teaching loads are marked as shared; these are not verified contractual workloads.
| Educator | Groups | Confirmed minutes / week | Reference-only minutes | Unconfirmed groups |
|---|
5 · Timetable readiness
No live configuration loaded.
6 · Optional draft timetable placements
Assign a real teaching group to a day and period. TMC checks collisions against existing draft placements for shared educators, rooms and linked register classes. This is not the published timetable.
| Day | Period | Teaching group | Facility | Action |
|---|
Timetable export contains school-owned draft inputs only. No schedule is published or marked conflict-free until every intended placement is reviewed.
Register Classes & Subject Teaching Groups
Build your school's actual register classes and teaching groups using its saved grade–subject offerings. All changes remain school-year drafts; teachers and learners are assigned later.
Register class details
Register classes are stored in the existing school class directory; capacities and rooms are draft setup details.
Subject teaching group details
Groups are allowed only where the school has already confirmed the subject for that grade. Link relevant register classes if ready; educator and learner assignments are later stages.
Invite an educator for future allocation
Create a school-owned invitation request while configuring teaching groups. This records a pending invitation request; it does not send email or grant access. Follow your school's approved invitation process to deliver it.
Saved grade–subject offerings
These are the subjects your school confirmed for this academic year. They are not yet Teaching Groups or Register Classes. Choose Create Teaching Group for an offered subject to make its group, optionally link an existing Register Class and allocate verified educators.

Configuration readiness
Only real school-year records are counted. Expected class totals are never inferred from historical DBE learner figures.
Quick actions
Suggestions and imports are previewed before anything is created. Existing class names will not be duplicated.
Review suggestions
Staff & Governance
Staff appointments and operational privileges remain separate. School Setup grants are explicitly approved by authorised management; selecting a position never creates permissions.
Delegation and staff directory
School management authorisation, term-specific portfolios, committee appointments and staff responsibilities will be migrated as independent modules with their original permission guards. No staff permissions are changed by this page.
LTSM Committee — school management approval
Schools manage their own LTSM Committee. A verified School Setup manager confirms the school’s submitted positions. One authorised manager is sufficient for ordinary Committee appointments; no EDXSA administrator approval is needed. The review creates provisional school-year appointments, not finance, scanning or inventory permissions.
Committee Workroom
Role-specific documents, responsibilities and review. Your school's confirmed LTSM Committee manages this space—no EDXSA approval is required for Committee paperwork. Every record belongs to the selected school and academic year.
Activate your School Committee position
School management confirms positions, then each nominated member accepts their appointment. No EDXSA approval is needed.
Inventory viewing additionally requires the current school-year, subscription, principal/SGB and signed confidentiality checks. Textbook issue, return, stock adjustments and QR production have separate server controls.
Role-specific LTSM access
Authorisations are verified for the selected school year.
Committee titles do not permit scanning stock changes, issuing or returning textbooks, purchasing or QR generation.
Live textbook activity · selected academic year
Chairperson and LTSM Coordinator: view year-bound learner issue and return records, stocktake progress and separate physical-copy registries. No stock changes are made here.
Recent stocktake sessions
Issue and return values count existing records, not certified unique textbooks. The physical-copy and scanner-asset registries are not reconciled and must never be added together. Planning buttons open Committee documents only; they do not scan, issue, return, adjust stock or create financial liability.
Textbook Operations · Development Lab
Test the issue, return, condition and stocktake screens using one signed-in account. No principal, SGB, second member or operational subscription is needed for this simulation.
Step 1 · Identify a demo book
Codes: DEMO-TMC-001, DEMO-TMC-002, DEMO-TMC-003, DEMO-TMC-004. These are not real QR credentials.
Step 2 · Simulate an action

Production integration will call the existing server-controlled QR, learner custody and condition writers with real session identity, active year, staff authority and idempotency protection. None of those checks are disabled here.

Committee activation & document readiness
Check current-year staff appointments, personal acceptance, principal/SGB paperwork and confidentiality evidence. School Committee roles are managed here; operational permissions remain separate.
A School-approved position is not permission to change stock, handle payments or produce QR credentials. Staff still accept their appointments; signed declarations and other school records remain separately verified. Procurement conflicts require recusal.
Inventory & QR Sticker Planning
Monitor existing School textbook records, activation labels, teacher handovers and storeroom stocktakes. This stage does not issue labels, place orders, activate books or adjust inventory.
ltsm.view, reports.view and ltsm.inventory.view permissions. Committee nominations and title labels do not grant data access.Recent QR print batches

Physical-book identity reconciliation
Review evidence linking School copy IDs to signed-scanner asset IDs. Existing textbook issues can reference both, but they do not prove a physical match until QR and book identity are verified. This cannot activate, merge or order books.
Conflicting links requiring investigation (up to 20)
| School copy ID | Scanner asset ID | Assets per copy | Copies per asset |
|---|
One-to-one candidate links still need physical verification. No figures in this panel are certified physical book counts. All-years copy identities stay distinct from year-specific issuance.
Current-year textbook titles (sample, up to 60)
| Grade / Subject | Title / Publisher | ISBN | Expected / buffer |
|---|
Existing copy rows and scanner asset rows are separate identity registries. Never add them together as a certified count. The physical book registry mapping is still pending.
Plan additional TMC QR stickers
Enter verified physical counts from the school's actual stocktake. This local calculator does not assume that an incomplete database record proves a sticker is missing. No request is submitted to TMC automatically.
Next: Distribution & Stocktake operations
The existing School LTSM issue, stocktake, signed QR and shipment tables remain authoritative. Teacher stock requests, confirmed returns of unused copies, learner subject changes, handovers and inventory adjustments will be enabled only after their server-authorised write contracts are reviewed and tested.
No simulated issue/return button is shown here because that could give a false impression that a book actually moved.
LTSM Procurement & Suppliers
School-owned procurement receipts, supplier history and recorded unit-cost totals. Data is read directly from the existing verified School LTSM services. No inventory, price, payment or purchasing record can be changed here.

Figures are read-only and cannot be used as a certified financial statement or departmental submission. No purchases, invoice settlements or bank details are created or disclosed here.
Planning & Evaluations
TMC will reuse the Individual Workspace's teacher-focused Planning and Evaluations components, supplied with server-authorised school class context and permissions. These have not yet been extracted; this page does not write to Individual records.
